Nokia Flexi BTS (Flexi Multiradio) Modules and Spare Parts
The Flexi Multiradio BTS is the Nokia Siemens Networks modular macro base station documented in 2010: each function lives in its own 3U cased module, and the modules stack on a plinth or hang on a wall or pole. A stack pairs a System Module — FSMB3, FSMC1, FSMD2 or FSME2 — that carries the transmission sub-module with RF Modules for the radio; an optional Power Module feeds them, an optional Extension System Module lengthens the stack, and one plinth carries at most two modules. Deployment is classic macro: floor, wall or pole, DC site power, and fibre from the System Module to each RF Module. Transmission runs from the standard FE interface through GE, EIF1 and SDH SFP sub-modules. We supply the modules rather than the site: System and RF Modules from 850 to 2600 MHz, power modules, SFP optics, system cables and the mounting, cover and fan kits that keep an installed stack serviceable.
