Ericsson RBS is the product-code family under which these base-station items appear in our stock list. Industry write-ups commonly describe RBS 2000 as the GSM/EDGE generation, RBS 3000 as the 3G generation and RBS 6000 as a digital unit plus remote radio units in a shared indoor or outdoor cabinet, with individual units replaced rather than whole stations; that mapping is background only and is not stated here as a vendor specification, because no Ericsson datasheet was obtained for this page.
